Vetiver or razor grass, as it is locally known, has been around for decades and to most has been seen as a hindrance. This grass, with its very strong root system, can play a very important role in soil conservation.
A workshop by Eco-strategies Grenada Incorporated, sponsored by GEF Small Grants, shed some light on the grass – proper planting methods and uses.
